Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Construction Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in supporting various construction projects by providing administrative and operational assistance. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, be computer literate, and have a customer service mindset. This position offers an opportunity to grow within the construction industry while contributing to the success of our projects.
Duties
- Assist with project coordination and scheduling, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Manage office operations, including data entry and maintaining project documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and communicating with clients effectively.
- Support the construction team with clerical tasks such as filing, organizing materials, and maintaining inventory.
- Operate phone systems to facilitate communication among team members and clients.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all safety protocols are followed on-site.
- Perfom site visits for estimations as needed.
- Prepare estimations/proposal, change orders for clients.
- Perform site visits to ongoing projects as needed
Qualifications
- Proficiency in computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks.
- Experience in office management or clerical roles is preferred.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a MUST.
- Minimun 1-year of experience working in a construction firm is a MUST.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Valid and clean driver license
