Office Assistant - temporary 

• Hours:  Monday thru Friday - 8:30am-5pm
• Pay Rate:  $23+/hr
• Location:  Morris Plains, NJ

Are you an experienced Administrative Assistant with a knack for assisting with Accounting tasks? If yes, we have an exciting opportunity for you! A not-for-profit family services company in Morris Plains, NJ is seeking a Temporary Office Assistant with Bookkeeping experience to support the accounting team. Ideally that has NetSuite or Sage and Office administration background.

Responsibilities:

• Office support; emails, phones, filing, typing etc.
• Processing accounts receivable and payable.
• Processing checks.
• Understanding ledgers.
• Working with an accountant when necessary.
• Handling monthly payroll using accounting software.

Requirements:

• Strong MS Office experience
• Associate's degree in accounting or business administration.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles.
• High school diploma.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping software -  such as NetSuite or Sage
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Attention to detail and accuracy of work.
