Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client for an Office Administrator role. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their career to gain professional experience. Job Description:
The Office Administrator plays a key role in supporting daily office operations. This independent position includes managing office logistics, supporting meetings, and maintaining a professional and welcoming work environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily office lunches for approximately 50 employees (Tuesday–Thursday)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area, break rooms, and conference rooms
- Prepare and set up conference rooms for board meetings and executive gatherings
- Order and restock office supplies, snacks, and refreshments as needed
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Coordinate with vendors for office maintenance and services (e.g., water delivery, shredding, and plant care)
- Provide light administrative support, including creating Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents
- Open and close the office, ensuring smooth daily operations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Less than 1 year of professional experience (ideal for recent graduates)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional demeanor and ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
Additional Details:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM
- Hybrid Work: In-office Tuesday–Thursday; remote Monday and Friday
- Environment: Independent role seated at reception; phones are auto-attended, and access is secured with badge entry
