About the Job
A leading commercial cleaning and janitorial company in Midtown New York City is actively seeking an Administrative Assistant for the Owner. Ideal candidate will Bbeskilled in handling client calls, email and other communications. Able to multi-task, and assist in calendar management and scheduling while assisting others when needed Accounting and/ or QuickBooks experience a plus. Hours are Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm. Salary depends on experience. Company offers health insurance, 401(k), and PTO.
Responsibilities:
-Answering Phone Calls Polite phone etiquette
-Scheduling keeping track of calendar and potential meeting/interviews
-Data Entry Cross references from documentation relating to importing procedures
-Communication Daily communication including emails & Phones
-Filing Records keeping both paper & computers, including invoices from vendors
-Accounting Functions QuickBooks experience / AR/ AP/ Payroll
-Supportive to office functions whenever necessary No job too big or too small. Team player mentality a must.Qualifications:
-5+ years of Administrative experience in a service related industry
-QuickBooks Experience
-Phone and email professional etiquette
-Calendar and schedule management experience
-Payroll experience preferred
-Demonstrate the ability to efficiently juggle multiple tasks and prioritize them based on urgency and importance
-Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conductQualifications:
-5+ years of Administrative experience in a service related industry
