Job Title: Office Administrator I
Goals/Objectives of Position:
Performs various administrative functions including reception and ensuring client needs are addressed and reported timely and accurately through completion. Creates, modifies, and runs accurate reports from using MS Excel and MS Access software.
Essential Duties:
• Answer, respond, and react to incoming phones calls, voicemails, emails, and faxes.
• Maintaining office equipment and supplies (toner, paper, pens, other routine tasks).
• Update all designated individual and company calendars, and deliver to the designated staff members.
• Keep current food count information for meals prepared daily from fax or email.
• Keep current with school closings/half days, special lunch request.
• Keep current with menu/production changes.
• Data entry functions with NutriKids & mpds applications.
• Assists Office Manager with reconcile numbers.
• Rapidly and effectively communicate customer changes to Office, Production, and Transportation Managers to meet customer needs.
• Assist other functions with gathering facts and information related to problems and issues.
• Assist with special projects as assigned by the Office Manager.
• Other assigned tasks.
Education/Experience Required:
Knowledge Required:
• Internal and external customer service principles
• Phone and email etiquette principles
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Operation of eFax, scanning, and other office equipment systems
• Modern office procedures
Skills Required:
• Providing excellent customer service
• Using computers and application software (primarily Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Tracking and ordering supplies
• Accurately entering data in the computer
• Communication: interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction
Physical Requirements:
Exerting up to 30 pounds and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Education/Experience Required:
- High school diploma or GED, and two years of general office and customer service related experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers and decimals.
- Must be detail-oriented, flexible, and a team player.
