The Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Preparer & Office Manager with a foundational understanding of tax regulations and some experience in office management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and submitting individual and small business tax returns, as well as managing daily office operations to ensure smooth workflow and a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily office operations, including scheduling appointments and maintaining office supplies.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication, including phone calls, emails, and in-person
visits.
• Organize and maintain an efficient filing system, both electronically and physically.
• Oversee and manage office equipment, ensuring everything is functioning properly.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for office-related needs.
• Ensure that all office operations comply with company policies and procedures.
• Skilled in preparing and filing individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns, ensuring compliance with
federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Experienced in assisting clients with documentation for tax filings, conducting basic tax research, and
addressing discrepancies.
• Proficient in reviewing financial records, including income statements and expenditures, while maintaining
confidential tax records in an organized manner.
Qualification, Experience & Other Requirements:
● Education: High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in accounting or finance is preferred.
● 1-2 years of experience in tax preparation or a related field.
● Previous experience in office management or administrative support is a plus.
● Knowledge: Basic understanding of tax regulations and tax software (e.g., TurboTax, QuickBooks)
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Salary
50,000 - 60,000 /year
