As the Office Administrator at Generator Supercenter of St. Louis, you are integral to the elevated customer experience; from greeting customers as they come into the store, fielding inbound and outbound calls/emails, scheduling in-home consultations and installations with customers, and much more. You will be involved in the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring the highest level of professionalism and organization, assisting with accounts payable and receivable, and coordinating with several departments to ensure proper scheduling and flow.
As the Office Administrator, you’ll be the primary point of contact for new and current customers and act as the “face” of Generator Supercenter! Your work, which will include but not be limited to the duties listed below, will help Generator Supercenter to achieve the following:
- Greet new and current customers at the front desk and promptly answer questions and concerns they may have.
- Coordinate and schedule in-home consultations and installations with customers.
- Manage inbound and outbound phone calls & manage emails from customers and clients.
- Answer inbound and outbound phone calls & emails from customers and clients.
- Update sales leads and backlog
- Work directly with Generac to handle ordering and warranty claims
- Accounts Payable and Receivable
- File and document all necessary information promptly and efficiently
- Manage Office Supplies/Inventory
We’d love to hear from you if you meet the qualifications below:
- College graduate with a four-year degree preferred, but not required.
- Excellent phone and email etiquette as well as a strong technical ability to utilize computer & phone systems
- Customer service and/or sales experience a plus.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal and multitasking skills.
- You can wear many hats: you will be responsible for many facets of the business and need to be able to take directions well and learn quickly.
- You’re a results driven, strategic thinker and problem solver.
- Proficient in basic computer skills.
Target annual compensation for this role is $44,000 - $50,000
