Staffing and Recruitment Compliance Coordinator (Faculty)
Job Description:
The Recruitment Compliance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of faculty recruitment compliance, including managing faculty postings, onboarding processes, and annual sexual misconduct checks. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the integrity and legality of our recruitment processes, contributing to a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
Duties/Responsibilities:
" Manage the posting of faculty positions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
" Coordinate the onboarding process for new faculty, including paperwork and orientation programs.
" Conduct annual sexual misconduct checks for faculty members, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely completion.
" Monitor and report on compliance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
" Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and University policies.
" Monitor and maintain weekly new hire orientation lists in partnership with Onboarding team.
" Assist in special projects and other duties as assigned by management.
Additional Responsibilities: Support the offer process for Academic Research in partnership with Faculty Administrator, including but not limited to:
" Reviewing completed proformas and verifying information matches candidates' resumes/CVs.
" Directing requestors to appropriate departments to confirm funding availability and candidates' eligibility for the role.
" Drafting appointment letters with compiled information.
" Verifying accuracy of the appointment letter and sending back to requestor.
Required Skills/Abilities:
" Ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships
" Strong verbal and written communication skills.
" Attention to detail and organizational skills
" Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
" Ability to adapt and remain flexible with duties.
" Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Preferred Qualifications:
" Familiarity with SAP, Silkroad Recruiting and Onboarding portal is desirable.
Education and Experience:
" 1-3 years of related administrative or HR experience.
" Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training, education, and relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Physical Requirements:
" Prolonged periods of working on a computer.
" Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Hybrid - On-site 1 day/week
