Office Assistant Expectations

• You’ll set the tone for communications by phone or email with customers in a professional, courteous, respectful way
• About 50% of your time will be processing inbound and outbound calls to qualify leads and convert them to booked estimates
• You’ll schedule appointments for our estimators
• You’ll be responsible for maintaining the job schedule and keeping clients informed about their project, including changes due to weather
• A vital part of the job is creating job folders
• You’ll be responsible for maintaining our mailing lists and utilizing them for 4+ mailings per year, including for the holidays
• You’ll provide a great customer service experience to all
• You’ll be resourceful and proactive in dealing with customer issues that may arise

The Office Assistant is a key part of Berry Coating’s commitment to delivering a world-class Client experience. In addition to effectively responding to new Client inquiries, the Office Assistant acts as the key link between project estimators, the Office Manager, and our clients. In this role, the Office Assistant proactively manages projects from initial communication to hand-off to the crews. This is an evolving role and we will change it as needed.
