Position Summary:\
\
The Admissions Coordinator is an integral part of the admissions team, working closely with members of the admissions team and representing the school at admissions events, both on and off-campus. This persons primary responsibility is to support the admissions office in realizing its goals of meeting admission enrollment goals and increasing diversity in the student body.This position requires presence on campus.\
\
Responsibilities:\
\
Assist the Director of Admissions, Enrollment & Financial Aid in student recruitment and enrollment for Esthetic and Nail Students\
\
Knowledgeable and well versed of the schools divisions, programs and brand messaging to share and advise various prospective populations\
\
Communicate directly with prospective students and families, respond to online, phone and e-mail requests for admissions information and questions about policies, requirements, and deadlines\
\
Provide support and information to families interested in the financial assistance process as well as the delivery of related services\
\
Collaborate to maintain inquiry/applicant database and software\
\
Organize, schedule and confirm parent tours and student visits -greet students and families at events, coordinate follow-up with prospective students after visits\
Manage RSVPs and guest lists, coordinate facility and hospitality needs for all admissions events (in-person or virtual)\
File application materials and help organize for committee review\
\
Partner to plan, manage admission events to enhance recruitment and yield, including but not limited to diversity initiative events, open houses, campus tours, curriculum information night, student visit days, off-campus recruiting events, student interviews, assessment appointments, new family orientation new family orientation\
Organize and distribute all admissions mailings, both printed and digital\
\
Assist team to develop and execute communication and social media plan\
\
Participate in on-going professional development via national and local conferences\
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director\
Pursue opportunities to engage in and learn about the school in-service days and participating in additional events.\
\
Qualifications\
Requires a BA/BS degree\
\
Requires previous Admissions experience or related field\
\
High level of confidential information handled discreetly with care\
\
Excellent writing, communication, interpersonal, and grammar skills\
\
Highly proficient with Google Apps, and Microsoft Office\
\
Must be detail-oriented, organized and willing to take initiative\
\
Must have excellent teamwork skills\
\
Experience of working with FAME is a plus but will train inhouse\
\
Public speaking experience preferred\
\
Knowledge of another language and life experience in different cultural contexts is appreciated\
\
Requires the ability to work well with families (parents and students) and with adult colleagues\
\
Must be a role model in embracing and living out the Schools mission, goals and criteria -willingness to be an active, enthusiastic member of the community\
\
Experience with independent schools preferred\
\
Physical Requirements:\
\
Regularly lifting or carrying 1-20 lbs\
\
Regular pushing/pulling/bending/stooping/kneeling\
\
Regularly climbing stairs\
\
Regularly sitting or standing 4-8 hours\
\
Requires physical presence, work to be performed on campus\
\
Ability to travel 1-2 times per year\
\
Ability to work evenings and weekends\
\
Denotes essential functions of the position\
