Office Administrative Assistant – Part-Time

- Serve as the first point of contact for customers, answer phone calls, and respond to emails
- Provide general bookkeeping support and office admin tasks, like filing and ordering supplies, along with managing our social media page on Facebook
- Assist in keeping the office running smoothly by organized filing systems
- Process estimates & invoices to send to customers
- Track the cost of materials and labor for each roofing project
- Schedule sales appointments with customers
- Help plan company events

Echo Valley Roofing, formed in 2016, specializes in reroofing and gutters. We seek a part-time Office Administrative Assistant with a friendly attitude who will provide general bookkeeping & administrative support for a growing company. Please consider joining our team if you like to work independently, help customers, improve processes, and have QuickBooks and Excel spreadsheet experience.
Our Ideal Office Administrative Assistant:
- Experienced: 2+ years of Administrative or Office experience. Bookkeeping experience is a plus.
- Computer: Proficiency in MS Office is required. Experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Maintains professionalism when interacting with coworkers, sub-contractors, and customers; possesses top-notch written and verbal communication skills.
- Communicates well in writing, over the phone, and in person. Enjoys helping people, solving issues, and building connections.
- Problem-Solver: Takes the initiative and seeks efficient ways of improving and streamlining processes.
- Detail-oriented: A task-oriented, organized person with high standards who can prioritize tasks and deliver high-quality work.
- Self-motivated: Assesses the work required, has the initiative to get started, and drives tasks to completion.
- Independent: Able to accomplish tasks promptly without supervision.
- Physical requirements: Able to sit for long periods and lift up to 15 pounds.
