Our client seeks an experienced industrial salesperson who will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and growing target accounts through value added manufacturing of customer rubber components.

- A leading, privately held manufacturer which specializes in design and molding of custom rubber components used in a wide variety of industrial applications.
- Serving a diverse range of customers and industries including transportation, marine, agriculture, plumbing, energy, food service among others.
- Engineers and chemists on staff provide a wide range of expertise in collaborating with customers in the initial design and engineering stages.
- ISO 9001-2008 and 2015 certified to ensure that all products meet superior quality and manufacturing efficiency.
Position Overview
- Develop new business opportunities and grow target accounts for value-added custom molded rubber products.
- Develop a sales pipeline of target companies with key contacts.
- Nurture key relationships to drive growth within a customer’s organization.
- Prepare and submit proposals and requests for quotations.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- More than 10 years of industrial business development experience.
- Experience selling high volume engineered-to-order rubber or plastic molded products to Tier One and Tier Two OEM manufacturing targets.
- Ability to communicate core competencies, delivered value, quality, and solutions approach to prospective customers.
- Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.
Compensation & Benefits
- $65,000-$85,000 base salary plus bonus depending on experience.
