The Organizational Change Specialist is responsible for creating and implementing change management strategies and plans for Lam's Global Products Group (GPG), resulting from Lam change initiatives. These strategies and plans will maximize employee readiness for and adoption of new ways of working, including new and updated business processes, new software systems, and revisions to existing software systems.
What You’ll Do
- Create and implement change management strategies and plans for GPG, aligned with Lam's vision and goals.
- Engage with various stakeholders, including business process users, leaders, managers, and technical teams, to assess their needs, expectations, and readiness for change.
- Conduct change impact analyses, surveys, and evaluations to measure the effectiveness, adoption, and outcomes of change initiatives.
- Develop and execute engagement strategies and plans for a range of audiences, including leaders, managers, professionals, and technical team members.
- Design, develop, and deliver clear, impactful, and relevant communications and content for different audiences and channels, following Lam's branding and Corporate Communications standards.
- Develop targeted and actionable change management plans, including communication plan, coaching plan, sponsorship plan, resistance management plan and training plan.
- Contribute to development of training and coaching programs to support the adoption and sustainability of new ways of working.
- Identify and manage potential risks and resistance to change and develop and execute mitigation and reinforcement plans.
- Monitor and report on the progress and results of change initiatives and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement.
Who We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial psychology, human resources, business, or related field.
- 5 years’ experience as an Organizational Change Specialist on complex programs
- Prosci and/or Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP™) certification
- Solid understanding of how people experience change and various change models, tools, and practices, such as Bridges, Kotter, Franklin-Covey, etc.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences and levels of the organization
- Comfortable with and adaptable to ambiguity and complexity in a matrixed organization.
- Able to work collaboratively across organizational boundaries and leadership levels.
- Ideally located near Tualatin, Oregon location and able to travel within US, up to 25%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Adult Learning Theory and modern educational techniques.
- Experience working in complex product development environments with technical teams, such as engineering and advanced research and development.
- Varied or non-traditional backgrounds are a plus.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
