We at Coforge are hiring a OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) Architect with the following skillset :-

• As a OCI Cloud Architect, you will work with our clients and engage them as trusted partners and cloud thought leaders.
• Your key role will be to help clients realize business and technical value from embarking on their OCI cloud journey.
• You will engage in pre-sales discussions and building Proof of Concepts / Value.
• Your knowledge and experience in Cloud strategy and implementation will position you well to advise clients pragmatically and enable multi-year cloud projects.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Develop and design cloud strategies aligned with business objectives, considering factors such as cost, performance, scalability, and security.
• Study existing technology landscape and understand current application workloads.
• Design and document comprehensive cloud architectures, including network diagrams, infrastructure components, and application integration.
• Define Migration strategy to move applications to the OCI and develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance.
• Design the overall Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) environment including server instances, storage instances, subnets, availability zones, etc.
• Design the Cloud network architecture including VPN connectivity between regions and subnets.
• Design the High Availability (HA) / Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies.
• Experience in optimizing Oracle Cloud infrastructure resources, such as compute instances, storage, networking, and databases, to meet application requirements.
• Design & validate OCI solutions meet industry-standard security and compliance requirements with robust security controls, encryption, and access management measures.
• Work closely with development teams, DevOps engineers, and IT operations to ensure smooth integration and delivery of cloud-based solutions.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 12 years of work experience in Information technology
• 5+ years of experience as Cloud/IT Infrastructure Architect
• 3-5 years of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure design and/or implementation experience
• Certifications in OCI or cloud computing (e.g., OCP, Azure / AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, architecture, and best practices.
• Proficiency in OCI services, including compute, storage, networking, databases, and security.
• Proven experience in designing solution on OCI, Including OCI Network and Security design for complex architectures.
• Knowledge of best practices and market trends pertaining to Cloud (OCI, Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Understanding of security and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good verbal & communication skills.
