Responsibilities
• Design OCI network and security components to support complex architectures
• Deploy and migrate workloads to OCI
• Conduct regular security scans of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments to identify vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and potential threats
• Develop and Maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or OCI Resource Manager to automate cloud provisioning and configuration management
• Deploy infrastructure using the available DevSecOps tool to secure enclaves, and troubleshoot any deployment errors
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to OCI services, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance to ensure high availability and resilience
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud infrastructure design, processes, and best practices
• Implement and maintain robust security measures, including IAM policies, network security, and data protection strategies in OCI
• Update Knowledge base and Standard Operating Procedures
• Provide technical assistance and training to users
• Share (rotational) duties to support solutions across multiple data impact level classifications
• Leverage Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) to ensure compliance and vulnerability management within the OCI environment
Requirements
• Proficiency in using monitoring tools like OCI Monitoring, Logging, and Oracle Management Cloud to track and optimize the performance of cloud resources
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like terraform, Ansible, or OCI Resource Manager
• Experience with scripting language such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Understanding of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Gitlab, or Oracle Developer Cloud Service
• Ability to integrate OCI with DevOps pipelines for continuous delivery and automated deployments
• Understanding of security best practices in a cloud environment
• In-depth understanding of, and experience as a cloud engineer with OCI experience
• Experience preparing technical documentation including design, asset inventory, and diagrams
• Ability to interact with high level customers and collaborate, design, plan, and implement the proposed solution of project planning
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
