Occupational Therapist - EliteCare Medical Staffing

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Therapy department. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to our patients across various settings, including acute inpatient care, acute rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and outpatient services. You will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with a range of diagnoses, ensuring they receive the best possible therapeutic interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and treat patients with diverse needs, including hand injuries, lymphatic conditions, neurological issues, pediatric cases, and other acute care scenarios.

Manage a caseload of 7 to 10 patients per day.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Epic EMR system.

Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and progress.

General Certification Requirements:

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

No additional certifications required for this position.

Experience:

Open to candidates with varying levels of experience. While preference is given to those experienced in all treatment areas, we welcome applicants who may be less trained in specific areas but are eager to learn.

Work Environment:

All patients seen at our facility, including acute inpatient, acute rehab, skilled nursing, and outpatient care.

Coverage required across all patient areas.

Dress Code:

Business casual or workout attire is acceptable. Scrubs are allowed, with no specific color requirements.
