Responsibilities:
Essential Functions of the Role:
- Evaluate, treat, and monitor patients, modifying therapy programs and goals as needed.
- Perform thorough and concise clinical documentation in a timely manner.
- Accurately enter charges and communicate effectively with patients, families, and the medical care team.
- Provide education to patients, family, and staff while supervising ancillary staff, students, and volunteers.
- Advance clinical skills through ongoing education, literature review, and implementation of evidence-based practice.
- Adhere to organizational, national, and state regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain awareness of system goals and align personal goals and work activities accordingly.
- Possess excellent social relation skills with excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Demonstrate aptitude in assigned areas specified for each clinician.
- Exhibit proven face-to-face synergy and leadership skills with all levels of the healthcare team.
- Proficient computer knowledge and ability to operate multiple computer systems and standard Rehabilitation equipment.
- High attention to detail in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with effective multitasking abilities.
- Education: Masters' or bachelor’s plus 2 years of work experience or above the minimum qualification.
- Certification/License/Registration: Occupational Therapist (OT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
