Occupational Therapist needed part-time

Key responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess gross motor, fine motor, visual motor, visual perceptive, daily living and sensory processing skills of the PWS and provide Occupational Therapy for the PWS as ordered by a physician.
- Treats PWS with disabilities, disorders, and injuries related to the areas identified in evaluation.
- Makes use of therapeutic devices and other equipment to maintain or restore maximum performance.
- Plans, directs and supervises PWS, family and/or significant other in the use of equipment and exercise regimen.
- Participates in patient communication and interdisciplinary care planning for individual patient needs.
- Contemporaneous documentation using electronic health records;
- Meet productivity expectation;
- Participate in scheduled supervision
- Evaluating and providing direct therapy services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Working closely with an interdisciplinary team of clinicians to improve the quality of life for adult individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
Requirements:
- NY State OT license REQUIRED.
- NBCOT Registration OTR/L preferred
- Experience with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred
- Experience with adults preferred
- Adult ADL work is needed.
- Sensory intergration experience a huge plus
