Our two campuses in Methuen and Haverhill have a total of 320 beds, and we are a full-service, acute care hospital offering comprehensive inpatient medical/surgical units, outpatient care, and 24/7 emergency services. We have three behavioral health units: cardiac telemetry, and critical care service lines. Our Haverhill campus offers all private rooms, and our Methuen campus offers a new state-of-the-art catheterization suite and Joint Center of Excellence, named as a Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue Distinction+ Center for Knee and Hip Replacement.

Position Summary:

Summary:

The Occupational Therapist, under general supervision and as a part of an interdisciplinary treatment team, evaluate individuals and plan and conduct individual and group occupational therapy treatment programs to prevent further physical and mental impairment of individuals, restore or improve individuals' physical and mental capacities, and assist individuals in the process of rehabilitation/recovery. Incumbents may supervise Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistants.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy program. BS or MS in Occupational Therapy
• Certification/Licensure:
  • Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association BLS required.

Experience: Prior experience in Behavioral Health setting is preferred. Minimum of 1 year of related work in occupational therapy setting highly desired.
