Occupational Therapist (Part-time) - TAG MedStaffing

Job Overview - Occupational Therapist:
Our healthcare client is actively seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join their team in the Bronx. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and providing occupational therapy services for pediatric and adult clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Location: Bronx, NY (Part-time)
Compensation: $48 - $51/hour
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Friday and Saturday

Responsibilities as the Occupational Therapist:

• Therapy Instruction: Instruct and provide training on home therapeutic programs and assistive devices to address areas of deficit.
• Documentation: Maintain contemporaneous documentation using electronic health records.
• Productivity: Meet productivity expectations set by the organization.
• Team Collaboration: Participate in scheduled supervision, patient communication, and coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team to improve the quality of life for individuals supported.

Qualifications for the Occupational Therapist:

• Licensure: Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the State of New York.
• Education: Occupational Therapy Program Graduate approved by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience in a healthcare setting working with individuals with intellectual and developmental delays.
• Skills: Ability to work effectively with limited on-site supervision.
