Overview:
Southern Physical Therapy Clinic is growing and is now hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist for an Outpatient Clinic in Wiggins, MS. This role will primarily focus on pediatrics. Full-time is preferred, but part-time or PRN candidates will also be considered.
Caseload / Patient Population:
- The Occupational Therapist will manage a caseload that includes general orthopedics, neurological cases, and hand and upper extremity cases, but will mainly treat pediatric patients.
- This is a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting that includes Occupational Therapy (OT), Physical Therapy (PT), and Speech-Language Pathology (SLP).
- Full-time OTs typically complete 45-55 patient visits per week.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time position working Monday - Friday.
- No weekends or holidays required.
- The schedule is flexible based on the needs of the candidate.
- Clinic hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 7 am - 6 pm
- Friday: 7 am - 12 pm
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate starting around $32 per hour for new graduates, with increases based on experience.

Job Requirements:
- Eligible for Mississippi state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply – mentorship and training are available.
- Full-time availability is preferred. Candidates with part-time or PRN availability (at least 16 hours and two weekdays) will also be considered.
