Job Description:
The Parks Senior Living in Odessa, Texas provides short- and long-term nursing and rehabilitation services to the senior population in our community. The Parks is a 14-acre campus offering a continuum of care: ILF, ALF, and SNF. The Parks is fully committed to providing our residents and employees with a true family, home-like setting where all employees look forward to going to work to provide the highest quality health care services possible. We are proud to say that most of our departments, including nursing/CNA, is fully staffed because our employees enjoy coming to work. Our therapy department is fully in-house and provides therapists/assistants with flexibility and learning opportunities and we are expanding our team.
Occupational Therapist's Job Responsibilities:
Helps residents by providing rehabilitative and skilled therapy maintenance services to persons with mental, physical, psychosocial, or developmental impairments.
Maintains expected productivity/efficiency set by the Director of Rehab or Administrator.
Maintains accurate and timely patients' occupational therapy records by recording resident s progress and daily notes under federal, state, and insurance guidelines.
Records accurate billing information of occupational therapy services rendered.
Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following facility guidelines and procedures.
Helps keep therapy equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs as needed.
Serves and protects occupational therapy practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
Enhances occupational therapy practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Current Texas licensure as Occupational Therapist
