Occupational Therapist (OT) - Parkview Health

Education & Certification:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
• Degree Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required if graduated before January 1, 2002.
  • Master’s degree required if graduated after January 1, 2002.
  • International candidates must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Must hold or be eligible for an Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice (to be obtained within the first 90 days of employment).
• CPR certification required within the first 90 days of employment.
• Must maintain all certifications and licensure per expiration dates.
• American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) membership preferred.

Experience & Skills:

• Previous work experience preferred but not required, aside from clinical training within an educational program.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and assist with 100 pounds of shared lifting.
• Must be willing to work at other locations as assigned.

Additional Requirements:

• If assigned to drive a company vehicle, a valid driver's license is required.
• If driving a personal vehicle, proof of insurance is required in addition to a valid driver’s license.
