Provide consultation as mandated by students I.E.P or ITTR process. Provide in-service education trainings for staff members upon request. Attend M.I.P.'s as requested. Writes I.E.P. goals based on assessments and individual needs. Will provide three-month summaries in line with ITTR process and problem areas for inclusion in children’s service plans two weeks prior to the children’s service team meetings. On-site duties will include, but are not limited to: assessments, classroom collaboration, record review, group and individual therapy. Services shall be performed in accordance with the requirements of State and National accrediting and licensing bodies and shall be consistent with sound and established principles of care.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master' degree in Occupational Therapy
- State of Maine licensed in Occupational Therapy.
- Prefer experience working with youth and clients with autism and/or behavioral issues.
- Agrees to keep current in the field; attaining the required number of annual C.E.U.s.
- Must pass Criminal record history clearance and a Child abuse history clearance.
JOB DUTIES:
- Provide consultation as mandated by students I.E.P. or ITTR process. KidsPeace physicians with clinical privileges will order Occupational Therapy Services and evaluations. Orders will be written on the Physician’s order sheet and a copy will be provided to the contractor, per ITTR recommendation. KidsPeace and the contractor agree to share any Quality Assurance reports or findings that may be relevant and pertinent with each other.

- Writes I.E.P. goals based on assessments and individual needs. Documentation of progress on IEPs quarterly. Daily therapy notes will be maintained in the client’s file.
- Will provide three-month summaries in line with ITTR process and problem areas for inclusion in children’s service plans two weeks prior to the children’s service team meetings.
- On-site duties will include, but are not limited to: screenings, assessments, classroom collaboration, record review, group and individual therapy.
