Daily Tasks
- Assess patients' functional abilities and limitations to determine appropriate treatment plans
- Develop and implement customized occupational therapy interventions to improve patients' physical and cognitive skills
- Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and optimize treatment outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
- Stay updated on advancements in occupational therapy techniques and research
- Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based protocols and best practices
Requirements
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience in neurorehabilitation or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and neurology
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
Additional Skills
- Experience with specialized assessments and treatment modalities
- Knowledge of assistive technology and adaptive equipment
- Ability to adapt treatment approaches based on individual patient needs
- Experience working with patients of all ages
- Knowledge of insurance reimbursement guidelines and documentation requirements
