It requires a 4-day/week presence in the department.
Shifts are scheduled between the hours of 7:30am-6pm on weekdays (no nights or weekends).
This is a Janesville clinic based position but must be willing to travel to East clinic to cover hand therapy needs at this additional site (split).
Specific schedule can be discussed at time of hire (start/end times and designated day off).

Job Summary:
Performs initial evaluations, develops treatment plans and sets appropriate goals to assist patients in achieving their maximum functional level.Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administers and evaluates tests of musculoskeletal, neurological and physiological responses to determine functioning.
- Develops appropriate treatment plans based on an patient evaluation.
- Designs and fabricates orthotics and adaptive equipment. Initiates and performs treatments through the use of exercise, manual therapy, physical agents and rehabilitation.
- Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits. Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment setting.
- Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy, or related area as required to obtain licensure in state of practice
EXPERIENCE
- Three years' experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Constant standing.
- Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
- Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication.
- Frequent use of hearing to distinguish body sounds and/or hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
- Frequent use of vision for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more).
- Frequent walking, reaching, gripping and keyboard use/data entry.
- Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, sitting, squatting, twisting and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
- Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
- Occasional lifting/moving patients.
- Occasional use of vision to judge distances and spatial relationships and to identify and distinguish colors.
- Occasional driving.
- Rare crawling.
