Occupational Therapist - Fresno, CA

Join the Virtus Healthcare Staffing Team! We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our partner, a 180-bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Fresno, CA.

Job Description:

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Providing therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities in areas such as:
  • Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) training
  • Fine motor skill development
  • Sensory integration activities
  • Cognitive exercises
  • Assistive technology training
• Educating patients and their families on treatment techniques and home exercise programs.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure coordinated and effective care.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Schedule:

• 40 hours in a week
• Monday-Friday
• No weekend rotation

Required Qualifications:

• Occupational Therapist license for the State of CA

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of occupational therapy techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
