Occupational Therapist

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our partner, a Medical Facility in Fresno, CA.

Job Description:

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and treating patients with physical, sensory, and cognitive impairments. Your duties will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Providing therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities, such as activities of daily living, work skills, and fine motor skills.
• Educating patients and their families on treatment techniques and home exercise programs.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.

Required Qualifications:

• OT License for the State of California

Additional Qualifications (Preferred):

• Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of occupational therapy techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
