Type: Full-time/PERM
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM
Location: Bronx
Summary:
The Occupational Therapist provides direct patient care in inpatient and/or outpatient areas of BronxCare evaluating and managing patients with physical disability due to illness or injury.
In collaboration with other health care personnel, the Occupational Therapist assesses patients physical and functional conditions, develops and implements individualized treatment plans, administers occupational therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve patients' mobility and function, provides education to patient, family, and caregivers, and supervises the work of the occupational therapy assistants.
Required Experience:
2-4 years of experience in direct care occupational therapy in the last 10 years
Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy License required
