Clinic - Pediatric Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) - PRN
MedCare Pediatric Group is looking for a passionate Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) to join our growing team to provide, evaluate, and implement occupational therapy services to pediatric clients.
PRN openings available for Saturdays at our Stafford Clinic.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school program of Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA)
- Licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) in Texas by anticipated start date
- Experience in pediatrics and bilingual are a plus but necessarily required
Job Duties:
- Evaluates results of occupational therapy by observing, noting, assessing patient’s progress, and implementing adjustments
- Educate and train families about various OTA techniques and strategies
- Treat patients by using therapeutic and self-care activities designed to improve function
- Monitor patient's activities to make sure they are performing them correctly and offer encouragement
- Collaborate with the MedCare team to ensure quality care
