OTA Summary:
An Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) supports licensed occupational therapists in implementing treatment programs for patients, adhering to federal guidelines and state regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conducts resident screenings as permitted by state law.
• Assists residents with rehabilitative activities and exercises from treatment plans.
• Monitors and encourages correct performance of activities.
• Records resident progress for occupational therapist review.
• May assist with scheduling, phone calls, supply management, and paperwork.
• Provides training to residents, caregivers, and families.
• Completes required documentation per company and regulatory standards.

Entry Qualifications:
Associates Degree from an AOTA accredited program and state-required licensure.

Other Requirements:
Participates in training on privacy guidelines and ensures compliance with policies and laws.
