Job Summary:
The Occupational Therapist Assistant will provide treatment and instruction to patients under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, adhering to the established Plan of Care and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include documenting patient progress, reporting significant outcomes, and maintaining clinic operations in compliance with safety and health standards.
Essential Functions:
- Deliver patient treatment and services as per the Occupational Therapist's plan.
- Document patient progress and report any necessary modifications to the plan.
- Assist in maintaining clinic cleanliness and equipment.
- Comply with all regulatory and facility policies, including HIPAA and safety standards.
- Uphold core values of positivity, ethics, adaptability, and kindness.
Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program and hold a Texas license. Experience with pediatrics is preferred but not required.
Physical Demands:
The role requires manual dexterity, strength, and endurance, including lifting and carrying loads, and potential exposure to hazardous substances and bloodborne pathogens.
