Occupational Therapist - Capstone Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing

Weekend and occasional week day per diem Occupational Therapist (OT) opportunity at Capstone Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. Capstone Center is seeking a dynamic, passionate, and independent per diem Occupational Therapist for its IN-HOUSE Rehabilitation Department. Days and hours are flexible.

Duties:

• Primary responsibilities will be to evaluate patient conditions, develop treatment plans, and help restore day to day functionality
• Supervise the activities of occupational therapy assistants
• Collaborate with IDT
• Complies with federal and state professional requirements

Skills/Requirements:

• Current New York State Occupational Therapy licensure
• Responsible, caring, and dedicated Occupational Therapist who enjoys helping patients and making a great impact in their personal development
• Effective and engaging verbal/written communication skills
• Ability to comfortably interact with people of diverse backgrounds
