Occupational Therapist

Summary

Our Award Winning Client, a nationally recognized and award-winning organization, is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist. This role involves evaluating, planning, and implementing tailored treatment programs for individual patients in line with occupational therapy principles and practices. The therapist will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient assessment/re-assessment, direct patient care, and personalized care planning and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret various tests and measurements for patients.
• Develop, improve, or restore skills needed for daily living and productive activities.
• Modify treatment plans based on patient progress and updated goals.
• Respond to physician orders for occupational therapy and seek clarification when needed.
• Develop functional goals based on expectations from patients and their families.
• Review patient charts and progress prior to treatments.

Qualifications

Education

• Required: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy

Experience

• Preferred: 2 years of experience as a practicing Occupational Therapist in a healthcare setting

Certifications

• Required: CA State Licensure
