Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Business Process Reengineer/Analyst-within our NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene team located in Long Island City, NY.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current hourly range is $74 to $84.
As part of our commitment to maintaining a compliant workplace, all final candidates will undergo and must pass a comprehensive background screening prior to starting work. This screening may include, but is not limited to, verification of employment history, education, criminal records, and other relevant checks. For certain positions, additional client-specific background screenings may be required in the future, in accordance with client requirements.
Voyatek does significant work with Federal and State tax and revenue authorities. If applicable, hires for these projects will be required to obtain a Federal Public Trust Clearance (Moderate Background Investigation). This clearance process may start upon offer acceptance; however, this clearance must be obtained prior to working on these projects.

Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Business Process Reengineer/Analyst-within our NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene team located in Long Island City, NY.
Key Responsibilities:
- In conjunction with a Human Resources expert, collaborate with the DOHMH project management team, the Division of Information Technology, and all impacted stakeholders from Human Resources and other business units. agency-wide to drive root cause analysis and develop corrective actions and preventive measures. Conduct detailed proactive analysis and evaluation of existing Human Resources business processes and process changes, identifying areas for improvement in operational workflows and recommend appropriate business reengineering solutions. Create process maps and flowcharts to help stakeholders visualize and understand recommended process changes. Document system and data flow to recommend integration optimizations. Design and prioritize process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce time lags, eliminate bottlenecks, and improve the experience of Human Resources, Job Candidates, and Agency Staff.
- Track business process reengineering performance against identified opportunities and KPIs (both efficiencies and growth) in conjunction with HR and DIT executive leadership and project management team.
- Recommend priorities for process change implementation and training.
- Lead process validation activities, including protocol development, execution, documentation, ensuring compliance with DOHMH, City of New York, and other regulatory requirements.
- Creates reports to document process status and changes.
- Develop professional presentations to display gap analysis and recommendations to stakeholders, Steering Committee, and other agency leadership as needed.
- Report progress, work plan, and roadblocks to DOHMH project team
- Stay up to date with the latest advances in process engineering technologies, methodologies, and best practices.
- Research and apply most current Human Resources Industry standards to modernize processes where appropriate
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Health Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant field.
- 5+ years of proven experience as a process engineer or change agent, including Human Resources reengineering projects
- Proven experience with projects using Human Resources Information Systems
- Skill in translating analytics and statistics to marketing-style presentations and documentation.
- Expert understanding of data flows, system flows, and software integrations.
- Strong knowledge of business analysis and process optimization tools and techniques
- Excellent analytical skills
- Proven ability to identify, assess, and solve problems.
- Proficient in process analysis, process modelling
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex process issues.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Ability to prioritize tasks
