Applicant must be a permanent resident or citizen of the United States and clearable for Public Trust clearance with the U.S Government.

Responsibilities
- Ownership of content for multiple websites
- Maintaining, updating, and ensuring accuracy of Digital Content on multiple USDA websites
- Writing, editing, and updating content per customer request/approval, and recommending updating and adding content
- Improve the effectiveness of website content.
- Develop supporting graphics, images and other material using Canva or other graphic tool
- Ensuring all materials for uploading to the sites are 508-compliant and resolving accessibility issues
- Ensuring all resources are published in final approved form
- Collaborate with customer to develop and implement content, communication, and outreach strategies that promotes internal and external user engagement
- Exhibit, promote, and demonstrate both websites and related resources at annual and bi-annual conferences as well as local meetings as required
- Leading and facilitating meetings
- Participating in required conferences
- Delivering contract deliverables
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education and training in nutrition and/or public health with maternal and infant/child nutrition training and experience (RD/RDN)
- Experienced with collecting, using, and analyzing data to make recommendations and decisions
- Highly organized with strong project and time management skills; experience with project management applications (e.g., JIRA); ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong presentation, communication, project management, reasoning, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Strong writing and editing skills, with good spelling and grammar and the ability to adapt styles and write for various formats and audiences (e.g., webpages, newsletters, social media messages, etc.)
- Ability to create concise yet clear and/or thorough written deliverables appropriate for various audiences and purposes
- Ability to manage/oversee multiple projects simultaneously and operate in a fast-paced environment
- Web content management skills, or the ability to learn (to ensure continuation of basic tasks in absence of primary web content manager, assist with content creation, data extraction, account approvals, etc.)
- Ability to coordinate outreach activities, including presentations and exhibits at state and national meetings
- Ability to learn quickly, pick up on preferences of all those involved in the clearance process (including those with whom there is not direct contact/communication, e.g., upper management and senior executives) and need feedback once (i.e., does not need reminders repeatedly/implements initial feedback for all like deliverables after the initial feedback is provided)
