Seacoast Nursing & Rehab Center -
Seacoast Nursing & Rehab Center, located on the campus of Addison-Gilbert Hospital, is seeking a Nursing Unit Administrative Assistant to provide administative support for our busy short-term rehabilitation unit. This ideal candidate will work full-time, Monday-Friday, from 9:30am-4:30pm to support our team of caregivers and patients.

Requirements for the Nursing Unit Administrative Assistant:
- Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or its equivalent. Active CNA certification/Medical Assistant certification is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and nursing practices is preferred.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to react calmly to difficult circumstances.
Example Job Duties for the Nursing Unit Administrative Assistant:
- Record medical and administrative information in accordance with established charting and documentation policies and procedures.
- Answer telephone, page calls, deliver messages to residents, staff, etc. as necessary.
- Maintain an up-to-date roster of patients/residents for assigned unit.
- Maintains a safe, clean, and organized physical environment in the nurses' station and patient care unit.
- Transcribe physician orders to the electronic medical record and enter for licensed nurses to review and reconcile.
- Participate in the New Admission Welcoming Process by processing the patient's admission and registration into the facility's EMR.
- Other duties as assigned by the Nursing Unit Manager, Director of Nursing, or facility Administrator.
