Job Details
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Nurse Supervisor (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role is crucial to maintaining the high standards of our medical facility, and the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of our nursing department. The Nurse Supervisor will be the backbone of our healthcare team, providing leadership and support to our nursing staff, ensuring patient care is delivered with the highest level of quality and efficiency. The Nurse Supervisor is an onsite role first shift Sunday-Thursday.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and mentor nursing staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
2. Ensure all nursing operations are in compliance with established medical protocols and regulations.
3. Develop and implement effective patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
4. Oversee the medication program, ensuring correct administration and adherence to safety guidelines.
5. Respond to any issues or emergencies that arise, taking immediate action and coordinating with relevant personnel.
6. Conduct regular staff meetings to disseminate important information and updates.
7. Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing constructive feedback and opportunities for professional development.
8. Participate in recruitment, hiring, and training of new nursing staff.
9. Collaborate with senior management to develop strategies for improving patient care and staff performance.
10. Maintain current knowledge of advancements in nursing care and medical technology.
Qualifications:
1. A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
2. Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
3. Demonstrated leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing and motivating a team.
4. In-depth knowledge of nursing operations, medical protocols, and healthcare regulations.
5. Proficiency in managing a comprehensive medication program.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
7. Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
8. Ability to handle high-stress situations and make critical decisions under pressure.
9. Commitment to delivering the highest quality of patient care.
10. Willingness to keep abreast of the latest developments in the medical and nursing field.
11. Experience in Assisted Living or senior care is preferred.
