We are seeking Long Term Care Nursing Supervisor to join our team at the Neighborhoods at Brookview!

The Nursing Supervisor completes assessment care planning for the residents on the household/neighborhood, which will include the MDS process and care planning process. The Nursing Supervisor will complete admission, discharge and transfer paperwork. The Nursing Supervisor will participate in planning, organizing, directing, and facilitating the clinical operations for the household/neighborhood. The Nurse Supervisor will work with the Nursing Director to ensure regulatory compliance, nurture a person-centered and resident-directed culture, strengthen the ability of the household to grow as a separate effective home and promote individual and team learning in the household. The Nursing Supervisors will collaborate with residents and their families to achieve optimal care residents. They will provide excellent customer service at all times for the facility and maintain flexibility to meet a constantly changing work environment.
Qualifications:
- Incumbent must be knowledgeable about state and federal regulation
- Current CPR license required
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of South Dakota is required; must be in good standing through the state nursing registry; degree from an accredited school of nursing require
- Thorough knowledge of community and healthcare resources and Medicare regulations is necessary
- Prior experience in geriatric nursing is desirable
- 2-5 years experience as a registered nurse in a skilled health care facility or retirement facility is preferred
- Completion of cross-training for household homemaking, including food service and food handling (ServeSafe or equivalent) is desired
