POSITION SUMMARY
Manages the operations of the Clinic staff, and as such is responsible for assuring continual, timely and accurate nursing services to the patients of the clinic within the developed financial and budgetary guidelines in accordance with the philosophy, goals and objectives of Pender Community Hospital
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES
Manages day-to-day operations of the supervised departments effectively and efficiently, including overseeing operations, organizing and managing quality assurance functions, develops and documents department policies and procedures, ensuring service level are achieved and maintained and monitoring workflow and departmental processes.
Participates in the strategic planning for the organization, develops concepts, communicates ideas, monitors and evaluates overall department programs to ensure effective workforce planning, attends operations team meetings, coordinates with office manager to develop and implement new services and projects and assists in developing pertinent marketing for all clinic locations.
Recruits and develops a qualified and productive work force including maintaining and creating department job descriptions, offers opportunity for continuing education, and monitoring, tracking and verifying compliance of staff in maintaining required licenses and certification.
Manages department financial operations by maintaining, developing, and monitoring budgets and reports, maintaining accurate timekeeping records and monitoring overtime, and participates in the annual budgeting process.
- Promotes and ensures patient safety in performance of all responsibilities and informs Medical Clinic Director regarding patient care issues in a timely manner. Ensures that all clinics meet RHC guidelines and standards and participate in activities to support quality patient care at all clinic locations. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Bachelor of Science degree in nursing preferred.
- A minimum of one to two years nursing experience preferred.
- Prior rural clinic experience preferred.
Certificates, Licensure, Registrations:
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nebraska or multi state licensure in a nurse licensure compact state
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
