Position Overview:
The Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for the overall management and leadership of the nursing home, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations. This role involves overseeing the delivery of high-quality care, managing staff, maintaining financial stability, and fostering a positive environment for both residents and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the facility meets or exceeds all regulatory requirements and maintains licensure.
- Provide leadership and direction to all facility staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Manage the facility's financial performance, including budgeting, expense management, and revenue generation.
- Monitor and improve resident satisfaction, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and caring environment.
- Lead the recruitment, training, and retention of qualified staff.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the facility, residents' families, and the community.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance facility operations and services.
- Address any resident or family concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Valid Nursing Home Administrator license in the state of Florida .
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role within a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations governing nursing homes.
- Proven track record of successful facility management and staff leadership.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management.
