Nursing Assistant - 30 hrs/wk, evenings
A Nursing Assistant/Patient Care Assistant (PCA) is an active participant in the healthcare team who provides direct and indirect basic care to patients as well as support and care to families and visitors. The PCA is a valued member of the healthcare team, working shoulder to shoulder with nurses, physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or Equivalent
+ PreviousPCAor EMT experience and/or completion of a CNA/LNAcourse or completion ofa fundamentalsof nursing clinical rotation
+ Be able to obtain American Heart AssociationHeart Savercertification orBLS
+ Ability to read, write, understand and speak English. Second languages are considered an asset.
+ Ability to work every other weekend
