The successful candidate will be adept at diagnosing and treating a wide range of health conditions, with a particular focus on Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R). Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive patient care including consultations, examinations, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to formulate the best course of treatment for patients.
- Specialize in PM&R, providing rehabilitative care for patients with physical impairments or disabilities.
- Conduct patient assessments and interpret patient medical history.
- Prescribe and administer medications, therapies, and procedures.
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and wellness.
- Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in healthcare technology and treatments.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Active Nurse Practitioner license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in PM&R.
- Exceptional clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Strong knowledge of disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle a high level of stress and make decisions under pressure.
- Proven ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record software.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality of care.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
