Nurse Practitioner - Gpac

Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (Pediatrics/Internal Medicine)

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Iowa. The ideal candidate must be licensed in Iowa as a Nurse Practitioner or Doctor of Nursing Practice, with a preference for specialization in Pediatrics or Internal Medicine. In addition, the candidate must possess in-patient experience to excel in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and preventive care measures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.

Requirements:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner or Doctor of Nursing Practice license in Iowa.
• Specialization in Pediatrics or Internal Medicine preferred.
• In-patient experience is mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work weekdays from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with weekend on-call rotation (every 4 weeks).
