About the Job
We are currently looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team, focusing on providing exceptional care through well visits, physicals, and urgent care services. Collaborating closely with a dynamic healthcare team, including remote mental health therapists and nutritionists, you will play a pivotal role in promoting the health and wellness of our employees.
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive primary healthcare services to our valued factory employees, encompassing the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions, conducting thorough physical examinations, and ensuring the overall well-being of our workforce.
Rapidly respond to urgent medical situations, accidents, and injuries within our facility. Administer immediate care and determine the appropriate course of action, including potential hospital referrals when necessary.
Evaluate patient conditions and prescribe medications in accordance with established protocols and formulary guidelines. Offer guidance on medication management and educate patients on proper usage to optimize their health outcomes.
Qualifications/Experience:
Hold a Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner, specializing in Primary Care (Location: Brownsville, TX).
Possess significant experience in primary care settings, demonstrating a strong understanding of patient-centered healthcare practices.
Maintain a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in the field.
Licenses/Certifications:
Active licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Texas is mandatory.
Possession of an active DEA certification.
Preferred certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR.
