One of our client is seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant – Aesthetic Injector

Schedule: Monday – Thursday (4x9) – 9am – 6pm - 1 Saturday a Month

Location: Connecticut

 

Our client is actively seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant for our locations in Hartford County (Glastonbury & West Hartford).

This role is responsible for administering minimally invasive procedures within their scope of practice and in accordance with standardized policy and protocols.

Clinicians will be responsible for hands-on patient care for any non-invasive aesthetic procedures that are within the scope of practice.

 

* Conducts treatment consultation to identify patient goals and determine/recommend services and products to achieve optimal results.

* Reviews patient medical history for possible contraindications.

* Reviews treatment protocols, administer treatment and charts appropriately.

* Pre-dosing and preparation of injectables.

* Serves as the MedSpa facility's medical representative in the community.

* Phlebotomy, when applicable, for treatment.

* Training of new hires as a part of the clinical orientation program and continuing education programs as determined by the Clinical Director

* Telephone triage, suture removal, dressing changes, wound evaluation, etc.

 

* Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner/physician assistant program with a minimum of two years clinical experience.

* Must have or be eligible for State Licensure, Certification or Registration, as applicable.

* Advanced Practice Provider national certification.

* CPR Certified.

* Laser Safety Officer Certified.

* Recommended to have minimum 1 year experience in aesthetic and/or medical dermatology.
