We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic primary care team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive healthcare services to a diverse patient population. Responsibilities:
As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in our primary care unit, your responsibilities will include:
1. Providing comprehensive primary care services to patients, including health promotion, disease prevention, health maintenance, counseling, patient education, and diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses.
2. Conducting physical examinations, interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing patient treatment plans.
3. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and integrated patient care.
4. Managing patients' overall care, making referrals to specialists as needed.
5. Maintaining a safe and clean working environment in compliance with healthcare procedures and regulations.
6. Ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction by providing efficient, timely, and high-quality healthcare services.
7. Staying current with the latest developments, advancements, and trends in the medical field by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, and participating in professional societies.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
1. A Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited institution.
2. Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of practice.
3. A minimum of 1 year of experience in primary care, although new graduates are also welcome to apply.
4. Active DEA license.
5. Proficiency in both men's and women's health.
6. Outstanding patient management skills and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
7. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and make sound judgments.
9. Strong understanding of medical laws, ethics, and regulations.
10. Proficiency in using healthcare software and computer systems.
