Nurse Practitioners (NP) - Part-Time are needed to assist patients in the Vicksburg, MS area.

What do we do? Homedica provides primary care to patients who have limited mobility. We seek to become an extension of the physician’s office and hospital in order to provide a continuum of care tailored to the patient’s individual needs.

Essential daily duties include:

• Provide primary medical care for chronic and acute illnesses to patients who are home-bound or have difficulty traveling to a physician’s office
• Perform physical exams, diagnose and treat acute and chronic diseases
• Interpret laboratory and test results
• Prescribe and manage medications and other therapies all with an emphasis on health maintenance and disease prevention

Qualifications:

• Current Mississippi license required
• Home Health/Hospice experience required
• Excellent communication skills
• Problem-solving skills and ability to deal with a variety of situations
