We are searching for a talented Nurse Practitioner Hospitalist for the Observation Unit @ Charlton Memorial Hospital.
Hours: 40 8A – 8P 7on / 7 off includes weekends & holidays
Shift: Day/evening, weekend, holiday rotation
Location: Fall River, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours.

Responsibilities:
- Under the general supervision and direction of the Physician, Office Manager, or designee, conduct hospital rounds as directed by individually assigned Physician.
- Perform initial histories, physicals, consultations and follow-up care visits which may require laboratory testing, radiology testing, and/or immunizations.
- Formulate diagnoses based on clinical assessments and establish appropriate/ timely treatment plans.
- Nurse Practitioner: Masters of Science Degree in Nursing is required.
- Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
- Current Massachusetts R.N. registration is required.
- Nurse Practitioner Certificate is required.
- Minimum of one years' experience as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
- Current Massachusetts Nursing Practitioners License is required.
