We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner,
you will work closely with our gastroenterologists to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Location: Rome, GA
Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per year
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, occasional Saturday

Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with gastrointestinal conditions, including performing physical examinations, reviewing medical history,
and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, including prescribing medications, providing education, and coordinating referrals to specialists
when necessary.
- Perform various gastroenterology procedures such as colonoscopies, endoscopies, and sigmoidoscopies under the supervision of a gastroenterologist.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless coordination of care and effective patient management.
- Provide patient education on gastrointestinal health, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient encounters, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.
- Stay current with advances in gastroenterology by attending conferences, workshops, and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications:
